Symbols can be found anywhere, and practically everywhere. Did you know you can transform symbols to work for you? This week, we’re looking into how valuable symbols are in our lives, and how to recognize them before it’s too late.
“I Was Just Thinking About You!”
Coming across an old photo, item, or memory can actually have greater impact in your life than just nostalgia. Many spiritual beliefs point to an idea of happenstance being completely intentional, as if we are directed towards that which we need to see.
This is clearly represented in communication with friends: have you ever said to yourself “I was just thinking about you!” before a friend gets in touch with you? Perhaps a song you enjoy was playing out in your head when the radio plays the same tune right in front of you! If we dive deeper into this idea, it makes sense that these coincidences can be gentle notifications of what may lie ahead.
How To Change Your Life: Pay attention to your dreams, ideas, memories, and thoughts that feel more intrusive than others. Write them down, illustrate them, reflect and honor the coincidences that occur in your life. Use these moments as acknowledgement for what you are doing, whether you are on the right track or may need to reevaluate it.
What You Think About, You Attract Also known as the Law of Attraction, featured in the book The Secret, this idea of focusing on what you desire is nothing new. When you were little, did dreams and visions come to you about what life would be like when you “grew up?” Take notes from childhood you and give yourself permission to dream again. By redirecting your thoughts and energy toward what you desire-- success, money, joy-- your behavior and perspective will always shift toward what you want. When using this symbolism, there is no time to think negatively and impact your path to success, improving your life at every moment on a deep level. How To Change Your Life: The opposite is also true, so any fear and doubt must be cast away. These hindrances to your success are easily demolished when using this symbol. |
This old saying has been around since at least 1960, with the first print version in the 1970’s. There are hundreds of translations in all countries, making this symbol as universal as they come. The idea of karma, or your actions coming back to you, is a long held belief about doing what’s best for yourself and others around you. On a basic level, this perspective is undeniably successful in all aspects of life. Volunteering your time, giving generously to loved ones, sharing happy moments with strangers, and caring for those you love are all basic forms of karma that drive your path forward with grace.
How To Change Your Life: Using the results from your first activity, find ways to give your time and effort that will come back to you and propel your success.
If you’d like money, share your time cleaning up the environment.
